ARTS: TERM 2 - SCULPTURE FOR CHANGE

 CLIMATE CHANGE SCULPTURES

In this second term project there are two key elements ‘sculpture’ and ‘the importance of reducing waste’; We are going to understand the features of sculptures; learn about materials that can be reused to make sculptures and think carefully, talk and create a plan before trying to solve a problem as a group.

MONET VS BANKSY
Claude Monet (1840–1926) was a
French painter who helped start the Impressionist
movement. Monet painted many landscapes and he
worked outdoors (en plein air, in French) so that he
could observe natural light and colours.

Banksy is an anonymous artist in the UK
who does graffiti and other types of street art. Banksy
often paints in public places where many people will
see the finished work. Banksy’s work often transmits
a message about social and political subjects.
